We are a group of associates specializing in the development of policy and reports, primarily in fields related to environmental and ecosystem sciences. Many of the projects Eamer Science & Policy has undertaken involve senior levels of government, multinational organizations, and multidisciplinary studies.
We also work in the areas of science and heritage communication — researching and developing materials to convey information to a public audience in a variety of formats and media.
Eamer Science & Policy is based in western Canada. Lead associates are Joan Eamer and Claire Eamer. Joan is a professional biologist who has worked at the regional, national, and international scale. Claire is an award-winning science writer with experience in report development, general reporting, and writing about science and history for children.
